Made in Chelsea Season 7 Episode 7 - Recap

Made in Chelsea Season 7 Episode 7 Recap - Episode Summary

Well, what an episode! Just when you don't think Alex can do any more wrong (or maybe we did but at least hoped he wouldn't!) he only goes and has an ORGY with Spencer Matthews and a ton of "ladies" (I use the term ladies very loosely!) Poor Binks, I feel so sorry for her. As a girl who's had her heartbroken before, I can relate not only to the pain she is going through, but also the feeling of love and hate when you see or think of that person.

When Binky says to Alex early in the episode 'Those 4 times are the 4 times only' in regards to how much he'd cheated on her, I'm sure she knows in her head how ridiculous that sounds. Love makes you forgive people for doing you wrong and Binky is a kind person who wanted to believe him. Sigh.

I have to say that I agree with Binky that the best and most supportive friends through this time were Louise and Rosie, and that is because they completely let Binks make her own decisions and respected her for taking Alex back no matter how stupid it may have been. Lucy, Cheska and Fran all practically demanded Binks do as they say, and 'be strong' and leave him, which only pushed her to stay with him & prove them wrong even more. I don't think it's cool that friends go behind your back gossiping and acting like bloody detectives hunting for more evidence to back themselves up and break up a relationship. Yes they were looking out for Binky to an extent because they knew Alex was a knob, but they have to let her learn, and not meddle in a relationship that has nothing to do with them.

Oh and finally on the Binks topic, how quick was Jamie to tell Lucy everything, you could tell the whole episode he wanted to drop that bombshell he just finally came out with it in the end. Jamie is like Spencer, can't keep quiet about anything, and if there's a secret you know you shouldn't tell Jamie as it won't be a secret for long!

Now let's lighten the mood and talk about some other people in this episode...did anyone else cringe when Sam brought those two girls (toff and christi-something-or-other), out on a date. OF COURSE Spencer would have got with the girl Sam was after, how is he so clueless that Spencer has any moral obligation to anyone. Spencer is out for himself, and even if he wasn't that bothered about the girl he would see her as a challenge because Sam wanted to be with her. The saddest part about it is that this girl was on the show for literally two minutes, and now she's just another girl who will be known as Spencer's conquest. I wasn't really a fan of her or of Toff (stupidest nickname ever!), especially as Sam and Spencer were bickering at the table about how Spencer couldn't 'go there again' with her, and she just sat there like an idiot not even demanding they respect her! Gross.

This episode was packed with drama, revelations, deceit and a big old slap, as well as Sam throwing his drink on Spencer, ("Boom.") I literally cannot wait until the next episode, although my jaw dropped when I saw Stevie getting with Stephanie...WHAT IS HE DOING!?! I thought he was a good guy, and I love Riley, but you know when guys start getting more interest from girls they all act like knobs.

Do you agree with what I've said? Do you think Lucy was only looking out for Binks? What did you make of Stevie kissing Stephanie in next weeks episode? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Lots of Love,

Samantha Dawn
