I can't believe we are already at the final episode in series 7 of Made in Chelsea! What am I going to do with my Monday evenings?
Well let's take a look back at this episode and cast a critical opinion on EVERYTHING!
The first thing I want to address in this season finale, is how bored I am of the Lucy and Jamie "love" story. I'm pretty sure I've mentioned this in previous posts, but I feel like they're flogging a dead donkey with this 'I'm in love with you' storyline. I think we all know by now that Jamie can't actually fall in love for more than a second, and then he's onto the next girl. The one thing he does love is playing games with girls, and when someone (aka Lucy) does it back to him, it reels him in for a short period, they end up in bed and then he's off gallivanting around with other women. Sadly this tends to be a pretty common occurrence for most boys from the age of 18 - 25, so Jamie is basically a typical boy who doesn't like commitment!
Talking of commitment, as Binky and Alex seem to be the number 1 couple to talk about (and pretty much the only couple), what does everyone think of their relationship right now? What I hate the most is the fact that people are feeling sorry for Alex! It's almost as though now Binky has set some ground rules for Alex, BECAUSE HE HAD AN ORGY, people feel bad that Alex can't go out and pardy" with his mates - AKA SPENNY, THE GUY WHO HE HAD AN ORGY WITH! Why does no-one remember this or see why Binky has to give Alex some rules, at least for now! Although I have to say, the main rule he needed in this episode was to trim his beard, that thing is getting out of control!
I hate how much people want to butt in on their relationship. You notice how it's always the single people who want to have an opinion on relationships, because usually they want their friend to be single with them! I did cringe when Binks and her mum had an argument. It brought me back to all the times I didn't want to listen to my mum when she was most likely right about relationships. Sometimes you want to try and make a decision for yourself even if you know it's probably not the right one. Binky needs to learn this on her own, and sadly I think with the majority is against her and Alex working, and so they probably won't be an item for long with that amount of pressure for them to break up. Plus, does anyone else feel like Alex is only staying with her to try and redeem his TV image, he doesn't seem to ever fight for her that strongly!
Jamie is being a knob to Riley in this episode, I love Riley still, I think she's beautiful and always looks glamorous but also understated, as though she hasn't tried too hard. I love how she rocks up to lunch with Lucy wearing a fur coat (not that I'm an advocate of fur, and this isn't the actual fur coat from this episode), but I just think she makes an effort and goes unnoticed by a lot of the guys, when she's way prettier than Stephanie plastic-face Pratt!
I quite like Louise in this series, I think her and Sam are hilarious and I'd love to be a fly on the wall in their house, I bet they get into some funny disagreements! I love how Sam can just bet £300 as it's nothing to him, I wish I had their money! I didn't really see Louise and Fordy hooking up, well I mean I saw it coming the whole episode, but I find them an odd match, although hopefully she won't turn out psycho this time as Fordy seems a pretty together guy! I was not feeling Louise's dress in this episode tonight, I'm sure it cost a lot but it made her look really uncomfortable:
I'm so looking forward to the New York Made In Chelsea episodes, but sadly there has been no release date for these episodes yet, and from what I can see on Twitter and Instagram, the Chelsea gang are STILL in NYC, eating a LOT of pizza - so no doubt they're still filming the show!
