Koo-Di Sun and Sleep Shade Stroller Cover Review

I had heard about the Koo-Di Sun and Sleep Shade Covers for Pushchairs and decided to purchase a double one before we went on our mini break. I knew that we would be out most days for the full day, and I didn’t want the twins to get overheated, burnt or over tired. The Koo-Di Sun and Sleep shade protects your little one from the sun by blocking out 93% of all harmful UVA and UVB rays. It has a little pouch that it folds up into and is easy to store when not in use. It’s also machine washable, so if it gets dirty it’s easy to clean. It’s available for single or double prams, which is great news for us parents with twins or two young children.

When on holiday you can completely ruin any set routine you have at home. Whether you’re in a different time zone or not, it’s difficult to keep everything to your usual schedule when you have a lot of activities crammed into your day. This is when the Koo-Di comes in handy; you can either place it over your stroller as you walk around and your little one should eventually drift off. Or, if like mine, your little ones aren’t so happy about being covered over when awake, once you’ve walked them around and they’ve drifted off, you cover them over and if they get disturbed and wake up from their sleep they tend to just drift off again after.

My twins are 18 months when I bought this cover and used it for the first time, but if I’d heard about it last Summer I wouldn’t have hesitated to use it then as it’s suitable for young children of all ages. Not only does it keep the sun out but it also protects your children from insects, the sun, and yet your children can actually still see out so it’s not too restrictive. It’s also very easy to attach, just hook it over the handles at the top and then attach in the middle and bottom of the pram with Velcro. It is much easier to store than a parasol, and for us parents with twins it is so compact, especially when travelling and having a lot of other items to pack and carry with you. It also can be used when at home too and isn’t just a must-have for holidays. I know that when I take the boys on day trips or when we’re out all day I’ll end up using it when they sleep, even when it’s a little colder it would stop the breeze getting to them so much and would help them nap.
